How We Work • We use an education-based approach to conservation: to find the solution, you must understand the problem. • We pursue practical solutions to conservation challenges in a non-adversarial manner. • We are dedicated to partnering with businesses, local government and other non-profits to maximize resources results.

| Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has. - Margaret Mead |
|
Since 1993, the Alabama Coastal Foundation (ACF) has worked to create a healthy balance between the conservation needs of our priceless coastal resources and the inevitable pressures of economic growth. We accomplish this by bringing together stakeholders with differing interest to facilitate mutually beneficial solutions. We provide fair and factual information to encourage responsible citizen action. And we offer opportunities for individuals to play a vital part in preserving our environment and our coastal way of life. |
